Playground

This playground runs the real @smonn/ids library in your browser — the same code published to npm, driven by WebCrypto. Keys are generated locally and never leave the page. Pick a codec, generate an ID, and try verifying, decrypting, or unwrapping it.

Note

Keyed codecs (Signed, Opaque, Wrapped, Digest) generate a random key for you on load. Edit the hex key to see how a wrong key changes the outcome — the Signed and Wrapped codecs reject a wrong key, while the Opaque codec returns a plausible-but-wrong timestamp without erroring (it has no authentication tag).
